You got it super nice. I love trees at the distance that show they are far away, I think your proportions are looking good as well. Don't stress out, you are on the nice path and your barn is great. This painting overall is tricky in terms of color as well but you did great job and viewer reads what this scene is about. The viewer is looking from the bird altitude at the entire scene, which is interesting way about this painting. I like the transparency you got in the trees behind the barn showing some of the sky.
