Whew! This one took a while! I'm off maternity leave now and finding that W-O-R-K is cutting into my painting time! The nerve!!!
I digress. This painting is of a farmall cub tractor in a beautiful field of flowers. The landscape was totally my imagination- I had a lot of fun going wild with some different colors! I copied the tractor from a free image I found online. All the bits and bobs took a while but paid off! This felt like I did two paintings in one! I'm giving this painting to my husband ☺ After this, I have my first two commissions lined up! 😵 A bit nervous but excited to make a few bucks off of doing something that is pure fun!

It is wonderful! Keeping background and nature less detailed and that brings out the real eye catcher which is the tractor! AMAZING details there, 'Wayne Coley' like worthy!

Thanks felix! I think I started this about a month back. The landscape took me maybe 3 evenings and most of the rest of the time was spent tinkering on the tractor. I paint after my baby goes to sleep at night but now I work nightshifts sometimes. Wish I had more time to paint!
Wow thanks voy!! Wayne had actually finished a painting with a tractor in it when I was just starting to plan how to paint this one! He had given me a few tips for painting the tractor. That means a lot!! I really love his style. I have a ways to go before I'm THAT good though haha!

Main flower in that field is also red ;). Impressive work done here! Sky is incredible, details on the tractor are super! Flowers add the interest to the foreground. Beautiful painting Boof!
