This is another commissioned piece. It is very, and I mean extremely, loosely based on wilderness day, Bob‘s last painting. The client went to college at SUNY Geneseo and wanted a painting that reminded him of his time there. I’m actually fairly pleased with how this one came out. And I borrowed the idea of putting flowers in the field from Nancy, AKA Ninoum. Thanks for the tip! This is oil on 11 x 14 canvas.
I live in NY and have been to that area several times. That painting should do it! It's just lovely. Those distant mountains are so NY.
