Still struggling after a year. I think my mountain does look a bit better than usual.my bushes and trees are hit and miss. Not giving up.
Hey Cold, first of all, this is a great scene with great clouds in the sky. I don't know which color brand you use, but leave it on cardboard or newspaper for 1-2 hours. That sucks out a lot of oil. I do it this way and it helps. Sometimes I let the paint dry overnight. If the paint gets too thick for you, then bring it to consistency with a little fresh paint 👍🏼🇩🇪

This is a great picture, very nice sky and clouds, great mountains and foreground water and trees are top! Super Coldethel!
