Again, I found time today between my appointments to finish something that I had started two days ago. My attention fell on this BA painting and I started the attempt. The first part was only the sky and the second today, mountains, etc. I tried to keep Bill's style and let you incorporate a certain own note. I have once again made the sky softer than in the original and provided the mountains with a little more character, in my opinion. There were some things in the sky that turned out to be more difficult than expected and it was also a bit tricky. Nevertheless, it was fun to gain a little more experience again. Just like Bill says in the tutorial "it is so nice that it hurts" I hope I lived up to the Old Master and you like the painting too. So Here it is ,my Version of "Around the Bend" by Bill Alexander

It is really good. I seem to like the Bill Alexander paintings better than Bob’s, but that is just my taste. You did a good job. It is beautiful.
This is wonderful Dirk. The pine trees are my favorite part I think. I cannot seem to do upward growing pines.

Tomi , thank you for your nice comment . I'm sure you'll get the pine trees. Try different brushes and try again and again. Just a matter of practice . Look at Bills Tutorials that will.help much .its a different way to paint trees 😎🇩🇪👍🏼
