Evening Glory - Bill Alexander

Dirk1968 24 Feb 2023

My Version of Evening Glory off the Old Master . I like this poweful Sunset Scenes with the Killer sky , so i chose that . Like every BA painting in last times ,in a super small format . I think the colours are harmonious and shine well. Like Bill would say, to show light you need the darkness . Hope you like it . Totally fresh from before 10 min. canvasboard, ,black gesso , 18 x 24 cm ( 7,09 x 9,45 inch ). Time overall 3 Hours

This is a masterpiece Dirk! Just perfect! The colors, the sky and reflection are great. The softness and vibrancy of the sunset are a nice contrast that you expressed so well here! A+++

Good evening ,Bro. I'm very happy that you like it. I can remember that this sky was really β€žmonster difficult β€žon the small format.
Especially since I still had little experience.Always amazing how many interpretations there can be.πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
