I really like scenes with mountains and small islands and since there is no free tutorial for this painting yet, I decided to paint it based on the reference photo of Alexander Art. I decided to trust my eyes and my understanding for the color mixing.Also a good way to check what progress my skills have made. As always, I have tried to remain faithful to the old master in his presentation and yet to realize my own ideas. From my point of view, the softer color spectrum I have chosen fits well with this scene.And here it is, my version of "Mountain Island"by Bill Alexander. I hope I was able to do justice to Bill's art and you like it. As always totally fresh from 25 minutes ago

The island and illusion of trees and bushes is awesome. Green you selected with gentle transitions of value make it look very inhabited with different plants. I like that gentle highlight you created on the trees/bushes.
