After learning how to paint the canvas to look like wood in my last painting, I thought, what the heck....why not paint the border to look like a frame....so I did. And tried to make the wave look like it is coming out of the picture. Fun. Canvas is 16x20

Agree, great idea to create the wooden frame, then breach it with a splash!
