Followed a tutorial by Nick Hankins from season 3, episode 1 of the new Joy of Painting on PBS. I made the background around the oval blue just to see if I liked it. It's a fun one.

Super job on all of the tree, bush, and mountain highlighting. The blue nicely complements the colorful sky.

Lovely! Great trees, very colorful, nicely shaded. I like the idea of trying different color backgrounds with the ovals; the blue really adds to it.
