If you want to bring out the colours in your picture, try increasing the brightness a little and increasing the contrast a bit. Works wonders. It is still the same picture but you can adjust the colours to show what your picture actually looks like in real life. Most of the free picture editing software allows you to do it. I used to do it when I was running a charity campaign on TIB and when artists allowed me to show their work. Any problems feel free to drop me a message.
