I did an 18 x 24 hybrid Oil and Acrylic. The sky is an acrylic base with oil highlights. Everything below the mountain is done with oil and no gel or liquid anything. In hind sight would have been easier to do a Black gesso base. This is a painting done from a Kevin Hill sketch. He challenged people to use his sketch and then paint what you see and feel, this is my rendition.
