Yet another acrylics Peacock from College days. This was actually a very large painting, 18 by 36, and was for a church play which involved animals at a zoo celebrating Christmas. This was the backdrop for what would later become the flyer/brochure. Really enjoyed making Stars for this one - a thin cross with a liner brush, then a quick thumbprint smudge. The Pine cones were also a lot of fun to make because they are mini-versions of Bob Ross' pine tree technique - the dark backdrop and then using a smaller filbert brush in a mix of metallic gold and umber to 'dot' on the lobes of the pine cone haphazardly.
