My first attempt at a painting by Kevin Hill. He’s a lot harder to follow than Bob Ross but I liked trying something new. I’m not in love with it but gives the motivation to keep trying!! :)
Thank you for your comments! I have downloaded several of Kevin's technique videos and am finding them helpful. I was drawn to him because I see his art as a bit more refined than Bob's. That said, I still love Bob Ross for making me want I paint in the first place and showing me how! I sincerely appreciate your encouragement Sunnylady!

I usually consider Kevin Hill as next step in Bob Ross Journey. He uses more complex technique that teaches to use different brush strokes and adds different brushes. It is a challenge to follow his free videos. But paid ones are better. You got wonderful art piece here, look at complex colors and planes, you did awesome job, but because of the difficulty level you may be upset about it. Just let it sit a bit and then in 2 weeks put it near Bob’s versions and you will see the huge step forward with this one.
