Birthday card for my sister
Another reduction print, this time in three colors: yellow, green and black.
Only problem is that my green turned out to be only a slightly darker yellow since I can't see the difference. All parts of the flowers expect the petals should be green.
While on the subject of cards, here's a technique you might like to try. I used to run a few dampened petals placed over a sheet of watercolour paper through a die cutting machine (I guess you could use a hand roller if you can apply enough pressure) the coloured liquid that comes out of the flowers and leaves transfers beautifully to the paper. Fades eventually but you can spray it.

This is very cute, it looks great regardless of colour. I'm sure your sister will love it. I used to make loads of unique cards and gift boxes, it was fun. Christina Griffiths Card Making Magic, youtube, she must have a million vids out by now. Often you can find ways to adapt what she does to include your artwork.
Aw bless you, I can't imagine what it would be like to be colour blind. My cousin's daughter is completely colour blind, she only sees in tones of grey, must be like watching life on a black and white tv.
