The girl is the child of a neighbor.
I decided to go with a close-up to create a intimate portrait, perfect for the parents.
Took two to three hours painting and three quick preliminary sketches.
All portraits are done from reference photos I'm taking for the purpose of painting in a makeshift photo studio I've set up in the workshop.
