Portrait of an acquaintance that joked that I'd one day have to paint her if I ever get an atelier.
The stars aligned and I was able to rent an atelier space from a friend of mine (who is a real artists with exhibitions in galleries) over the summer. It's a shared workshop with other professional artists and I'm really looking forward to learning a lot this summer!

Portraits must be by far the most difficult things to paint. Well done. It looks good in just the one colour, and her smile is captivating.
