Painted after a photo of my girlfriend holding our dog. The photo reminded me very much of paintings of Maria holding dead Jesus, which is called a "Pieta"

Very nice! I very much like the use of only blue and that you chose not to put color on the dog. It keeps the focus on her/her expression. I like how you did her hair covering the dog's face.
