I’m not much into the scary so I had to think about this Halloween entry. I came up with the idea for a “good witch” yet couldn’t get excited about putting her on a broom. I thought it over and substituted the Moon! I think they may like each other. 🎃
This is a black canvas. I drew up the Moon and witch on Duck peel and stick shelf paper, cut it out then traced around it with a white chalk pencil on the canvas. Next, I painted it in with white gesso and added the darker shades on the Moon with grey gesso and a piece of sponge. Unfortunately, I drew and cut on the wrong side of the shelf paper, the stick side was reversed, so I just painted the background without it. It’s not scary but was a fun creation!
