Being snowed in for ten days I was inspired to paint a snow scene. I started with an acrylic under painting of the darker areas, water, bushes and trees, then finished with oils. 12x16 linen canvas board, Golden Acrylic, Blue Ridge and MH oils.

Thank you for all of the kind posts! This was a winter remake of a summer scene from the past. My goal was the sunrise colors in the background. I didn't exactly capture the pink tone I'd hoped for, but it worked out as is.
