I was focused on trees and highlights and I’m learning more with each attempt. 12x16
Wow! Beautiful corner in the forest! So many details in the trees, ground, water ! Shadows are great and dark!
Such a dainty little stream, and a lot of detail in the trees and shrubs, I feel sad for that one little bare tree back there, he’s got no friends.
Thank you so much KG, I was attempting to show highlights of the sun on the foliage and variation in a morning sky with that bit of crimson.

Mrs C thank you. I used a liner brush for many of the details. That bare tree had a good life in a peaceful place 😉
This is AWESOME!!!! The first thing I notices was the highlights...then I thought I needed a sweater to be there...Feels damp in them there woods. Love it!!!

I like this one ForestVue. Sometimes when you have a lot of one color in a painting everything runs together, but you have many beautiful shades of green that are all distinct and give plenty of definition. I also like the little splash of crimson in the sky.
