This is another Yarnell inspired painting. I have several bluebird houses and this is the typical scene each spring. I love their beauty, but find the males daily habit of pecking on windows annoying at times. 18x24 stretched canvas.

Lovely painting! I see many bluebirds at my house but they never do that on the window - only the male cardinal does - and it IS annoying! LOL.

Flippergirl, thank you. I have no idea why they do it, but it goes on for weeks. They peck on the glass so much the window is covered with nastiness! Iām sure it has to do with their reflection and showing off to the female. Sometimes she is standing by watching the fool peck himself half to death on the glass š
