Painted this one along with “Keeping the Bob Ross Dream Alive featuring Nic Hankins.” It starts out with some black gesso underpainting, on which I spent a lot of time detailing the distant trees. There are things I don’t like but It was a learning experience. I enjoyed it so much I’ve painted it a second time with some edits. Ross oils/20x24 canvas.

I think you did a great job with this! You control the movement of the water so well.

I really like the mist effect this painting has in the trees. It looks great!
Alexandria, thank you. The effect was easier to achieve in this painting as the distant trees and the hill they sit on were painted in black gesso with just a thin coat of a greenish mixture applied before the layer of fog.
