Original Creation

Wildflower Drive

ForestVueGallery 30 Nov 2021

I followed the Jerry Yarnell tutorial “Winding Roads and Wildflowers”. This was my first acrylic landscape and it was definitely a different experience than oil. I don’t care for the messiness of the acrylic pallet, but I do like the bold color and quick dry time. I enjoy a new challenge so I’ll keep at it. 16x20, Liquitex Heavy Body Acrylic.

Beautiful

Lovely composition, shadow on the road and flowers are excellent.

Thank you very much to each of you for your comments. I didn’t know what to expect with acrylic paint, but there is such a wealth of information on the Yarnell site that will help with oils also, I had to give it a try.

Thank you Tom!

WOW, this is so pretty. Your house is wonderful. I can almost smell all the flowers. Grass is cool, hills are super. This is just a wow!!
