I think you did a great job here. Very nice start to paint from the photo.
I have a suggestion to try without liquid white next time and try to mix color from the photo on your pallet. It will help better seeing colors and train your eye about value.
As base you can put a coat of linseed oil very thin one though. Keep an eye if canvas soaks the oil in. Some of them do and it makes blending impossible.
I forgot to add - painting from a photo is a challenge on its own in many aspects. But it does teach to see the color. To assist with it you can use simple Paint and pipette. tool to get color sample and then to try to match it. However, the best if you print out and put in transparent plastic case where you can probe color matching.
With the screen - it is a trick because each screen has own color settings and because it emits the light it could be a challenge to try to match.
