Original Creation

untitled

Froggie 19 May 2020

This is a pencil drawing. A request from my father. He was a volunteer firefighter for a number of years. I did it in 1994. Looking at it now, I wanted to take it out of the frame to add more background details (inside the building), and a few more shadows in other places. Plenty of detail in some places, not enough in others. I was definitely a beginner back then. It has been hanging on the wall in my parents home for 26 years!

Great drawing Froggie! Your father is a proud man!

Great job!
It must've been difficult to draw the firemen.

Great drawing!

Thank you for the comment. I always appreciate encouragement.

Jin: It has been a long while since the drew this, but I can say with certainty that the fireman were challenging. 😉 I admire your paintings very much, and you are a wonderful talent. Your input means a lot.

**Thank you for the comments... plural. You are all wonderful, talented, kind people. 🧡

This is really great and so special just as it is.
(My opinion...it is a reflection of you at that time...no changes should be done at all!! My opinion... If you feel the need, create a new one with new background, or more detail.)

I think that is great advice LJM!

I appreciate the input. Thank you, and I agree. I have no intention of ever changing it. Much like the poetry I wrote in my younger years, it is a reflection and remembrance of my own personal journey. The ups and downs - the good and the bad - all those things bring each and every one of us to where we are today. I was just expressing the urge to edit as a result of some things I've learned over the years. These creations bring back moments and feelings that should be remembered. 'Tis why I keep the artwork done by my children, nieces, and nephews when they were little. They're all grown up now and beginning to have little artists of their own. ❤

I'm so glad to hear this Froggie👍
