Lately I have been returning to smaller 30x40cm canvases. It's harder to do the detailing and highlighting on those but in the same time it's kind of relaxing. I planned for the leafy tree im the midground to be an evergreen actually but I totally messed up the shape so I covered it up with this one. Quite the happy accident since I think this one benefits the composition and the feeling of a mixed forest much more.
