One of the most frustrating things that happens sometimes is, when my liquid base bleeds through the masking tape. This happened to me with this painting which turned out absolutely beautiful in most other respects. But hey, I guess that's just part of the learning process. Next time I'll try to seal the edges of my masking tape with a thick paint before applying my liquid base.
I love the circle template instead of the rectangle! Very lovely work. And I know what you mean about bleeding through, but it is not noticeable to me so you must have repaired it.
