So a few days back I was in the mood for a warm winter painting and thought I'd use some colors my girlfriend would like. Think it turned out nicely and she really loves it!
I'm not really satisfied with the look with the foreground birch but thats alright. Really like the mountain though.
Also I tried a new format: 39x52cm. It's close to my usual go to of 40x50cm but it's the same ratio Bob uses. And I have to say even though it is only a small difference it really does make a difference. I'm feeling way more comfortable with this ratio than with the 40x50 and will continue using it going forward.
