Original Creation

Something Something Waterfall

Hammipaints 07 Mar 2023

Not creative with my title today. 60x45cm stretched canvas. I rarely do vertical format paintings but this time I was in the mood. I like playing around with evergreen and mixed forests at the moment but I feel my mood is going to change soon. Maybe a seascape for a change (He types while having the underpainting for the next deep forest scene prepared already).

Great job Marc. I love everything about this one.

Soooooooo beautiful Marc!!! Gosh I can’t wait to get that good! Those forest scenes of yours are some masterpieces!!!

Thanks a lot Tony!

Thanks so much Nancy! But you must be kidding, right? In so many paintings of yours the technique is so clean I can't imagine to ever get mine so good! Your cabins and trunks are a charm! So thanks again, that compliment means a lot

So stunning! Love everything about this one...just fabulous!

Guten Morgen Marc, That looks great, hats off🤠👊🏼

Well done overall.

This is very good!
And I like that it is done with acrylics and especially thank you for that article on how to do the wet-on-wet technique using acrylics.

Well, thx Marc but your paintings are next level. I just follow tutorials. You come up with some of the greatest paintings. Even just looking at a picture or getting this out of my head, I wouldn't be able to make it look close to yours. BTW, your article is GOLD!!!!!!! So well done! Amazing job!

Thank you Sandy, Dirk and Tom!
And Thank you Titia, really glad you like my article too!

@Nancy: Still, following a tutorial is one thing but nailing the painting and technique is something else and I think you manage that really well. But thank you very much again! Being able to compose a landscape more or less from the top of my head is something I take a bit of pride in. However I regularly do little doodles with pencil on paper which later serve as a template for my paintings. So it's not all just from the top of my head :D
Also really really glad you like my article! I hope it helps some people !
