This sunrise seascape is originally inspired by one of my favorite artists and features a dominant wave crashing into the rocks on a windy morning. A dominant light just off canvas sparkles the eye of the wave as a seagull and his friends enjoy their flight.
This 18 by 24 inch canvas was pre-primed with flat colored acrylic (orange, umber and coral) and left to dry before oils were added and blended throughout.
