Haven’t tried just painting with the palette knife. This was my first attempt. I enjoyed it. Might do it again.

Thank you :). I had a black canvas left over so opted for that one. I had gessoed a previous painting I didn’t like so I figure it would be good practice. Used mix of thinner with alizarin and phthalo blue for under color with Indian yellow near the horizon.
