This is an 18 by 24 canvas. Pre-primed with black gesso on the lower half and ochre with shades crimson and pale blue with a tad bit of orange. Allowed to dry. Then used a custom magic white with one part Phthalo green and two parts dusty rose. Added white for a soft gray overtone. Built the sky followed by the seascape and rocks.
As always your sea sceneries are breathtaking. That sea is just perfection and I love the harmony between it and that vivid sky.

Thank you I appreciate it :). I’m stuck on seascapes lately. There’s something about them I’m wanting to figure out and solve. I can’t quite identify it but I’m wanting to master them as much as possible. Might be an OCD thing. Thank you all for your comments :)
