This is my study of Monet and his poppies that he painted while living in the white house in the center of the painting, his young son Jean and his wife Camille with a parasol are pictured in the lower right. The original painted in 1872 hangs in a museum in France, this version painted in 2020 hangs in my living room. Both are 24 x 18 inches. I hope you like it.

He is my favorite artist - I always go in the Museum to the impressionists exhibitions first. He was a genius!
