I wanted to retry a piece I had already done (my 3rd painting) and add more detail, but I think I bit off a little more than I was ready to chew. My favorite part of this one is the pond and rocks in front. I'm finding that it's hard to photograph paintings, the flash adds a lightness that isn't as dramatic in person, but without it it was hard to see the darker colors. #21
