Original Creation

Amaharashi Coast

Jin7 06 Jan 2024

On January 1, a huge earthquake occurred about 110 km (69 miles) north of this location. The area near this location was also damaged, but many buildings collapsed and many lives were lost in the area near the epicenter. Many people are still living in evacuation centers. Many people from all over Japan are working hard to rescue the victims. Many Japanese are very saddened by this. We only wish them a speedy recovery. I did this about three years ago and all of this work was painted using Bob Ross brand paints, brushes, and knives.

Good one, Jin. <3
Great mountians, great depth.
And I like the waves as well. Looks like you used the paint knife for them?

@Dirk1968 Thank you for the comment!

@TitiaD Thank you very much! For most of the big waves I used a knife.

Very nice, I like the blue range of colors in this one Jin!

You paint the most amazing mountains.

@indicationofart Thank you very much for the comment.
Weather permitting, a magnificent view can be seen at this point!

This is such a touching tribute to the people of the Amaharashi Coast. Superb compo Jin! You could do a fundraiser with your painting.

Thank you very much for the feedback.
If I could save the victims with my paintings, I would, but it's hard to do that in Japan, and I don't really know how to do that.

Can you auction your painting? Or people buy tickets, and you do a draw. All the proceeds go to help the families affected by the disaster. Maybe through Facebook or any other social media. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Good job

Its almost like I feel the stormy sea. Great work!

Dear Ninoum
First of all, I really appreciate you for your support. The area that suffered the most damage was the Noto Peninsula area. I won't go into the details of the situation as it would be too long, but I would like to offer another form of support to the affected areas. My house is quite far from the epicenter of the earthquake, but it was also damaged a little.

@Codethel Thank you very much!

@Utopi94
