This is my first attempt with a pencil.
I was going to draw a Japanese actress, but it didn't work.
Unfortunately I couldn't draw like that lady.

I drew this picture about 5 years ago, and I drew about two other pictures in addition to this work, but I haven't drawn it now. As I wrote at the beginning, dissimilarity is a fatal flaw in drawing portraits. As Bob said, drawing portraits requires special talent.
Although I seems to be suitable for landscape painting, I would like to draw if there is another opportunity. .

I tried pencil myself and my husband, none of us looked like us. Yes, totally agree portraiture is a special talent. I guess understanding of the skeleton and muscles is needed for that to create shape.

This lady looks very beautiful with a bit childish face to me. She is great as a portrait of a person.

You may not know many japanese women look younger than they really are.
There is also a story that when a 30-year-old woman went to Hawaii, the clerk of the shop did not sell her alcohol because she was thought a minor.
The model of my work also looks childish lady.
