Europa has volcanism. It supposedly have liquid water under thick icy crust of 10 -15 miles. Oceans if they are there are 60-150 km deep. It might have potential for life there.
This is Solar system series painting. Idea of the series was to have view from the surface of space object.
It is made on circle canvas with acrylic from paint . This was so easy to control paint flow and made in about 5 minutes.

This is fantastic and a great idea to use the solar system as inspiration. My son and I have just started using acrylics and its been great fun.

I really like how you do these, but admit, I don't know how you do these! The first one I saw really reminded me of a planet surface as seen from space, and now I'm thrilled to see you are doing a series of exactly that. These are flat-out wicked. Great job!

Yes, it took me several months to try this painting at first, so I really was motivated to take that bravery test and redo those darn waves. i had a lot of useful info and what I realy understood is that the background needed distinction from those waves in the foreground. I solved that with choosing that bright yellow colour!
