So, this painting is rather exciting for me. First, Bram recently did a scene very similar to this, only with the water soluble oil paint. Mine, using just regular BR
oil paint. I also made changes to my scene.
Secondly, this is my first painting of the year 2022.
Thirdly, when I first started painting I tried with a mountain and it was less then satisfying. Since then, I have only done two other mountains, never pleased with the results. My last one was better, but still not like I wanted it. This one, I took my time and studied my movements, the feel, angles, et cetera. I achieved my shadow on the mountain, snow breaks, just very happy with this. I look forward to doing more of them.

Absolutely great mountain, I like the very pale pink in the snow reflected from your sky. Really nice.
