I really like just doing single trees. It really helps me practice their structure and play with color. I have like 60 of these small 9x12" canvases that i paint some quick experimental compositions on and see how i like it. This one i started with sap green then sprayed with water go get it runny. After drying i proceeded to add in the dark then 2-3 different highlight tones. It is one of my favorites
this is pretty badass, I like the dripping at the bottom. this almost has a modern art vibe to it, if I'm using that term properly ha. very cool

So original!! It's an eye catcher for sure! Your evergreen is epic!!! Just love how the colors are running down of it at the bottom! Great piece!
