Here we go again. I had this background black gesso'd for a while, finally got around to painting it.
I like how it came out. The trees could use a little more work. It still just doesn't feel like what i was going for. I might need to do some color studies and really figure out how i like to build the different colors on the foliage.
Working with light might be the next thing i try with this kind of scene. Some light rays coming through the canopy
