Exactly! I paint BR to relax. I try to do at least three a week, because these larger “fine art” pieces take so much time to build up. They also rely on multiple sketches and are much larger than my BR. I have learned so much from BR technique though. I’m starting to make really large seascapes with his and Eva Volf tutorials.

The complexity of composition is fantastic in all these paintings! Certainly hear you about loosen up. Do you paint one painting like this at a time? And BR in between while layers are drying?
