I really enjoy learning from Lowell and this was a fun scene. Didn’t really use the same technique as Lowell when I approached the water, though I absolutely love the subtle and subdued colors. I actually added quite a bit of yellow ochre to the final piece which is difficult to see on the photograph.
Total I used 4 colors. Titanium White, grey mix, yellow ochre, and bright red on an 18x24” canvas.
