Voy Kay - I’m glad you like them! I was actually 50/50 when I added the big bird but as I stepped away from the painting, I felt a completeness. Maybe it filled the space that I was noticing, either way, thank you so much for your compliment of my birds! I absolutely love birds and am somewhat of a nerd when it comes to them in the real world. Canvas is different, but I’m trying to work on ways to add them to more paintings naturally. Any wildlife I think is what my end goal will be!

Adding the bird closer up helped push things back just a tad farther. As the viewer it feels like a good distance and perspective. The whole piece is done wonderfully. (:
