Hello Friends, you may recognize this scene, taken from Bob's Distant Hills painting. I changed the palette and made a few other alterations before adding a cardinal.
My husband's home health aide wished for another winter scene with a cardinal, so I painted this for her. I chose Distant Hills because Bob references the western North Carolina mountainous area as his inspiration for his composition. Being that I live in NC, I thought it would be a perfect backdrop for our beautiful state bird :)
