The Grandeur of Late Summer

16x20, oil on canvas. I haven't been painting as much since my brother passed away and while my husband was undergoing brain surgeries.
But I finally found my motivation again and wanted to "brush up" on all the basic techniques. I thought this would help with that and it did! I followed Paul Ranson's "Grandeur Of Summer" tutorial & got a bit color happy with my shrubs, hence the name "Grandeur of Late Summer".
