A birthday present for a dear friend. I did my best to recreate her corgi Narco. Her husband took the photo and I used tracing paper to get shape right- so his ears really are that big! Thanks to Voy Kay for advice on the body!
Wow!! It almost looks alive. Expert detailing everywhere, but for me, if I get to choose one thing , the eyes are the most remarkable.

Thank you voy Kay! She did like it! Unfortunately it wasn’t a huge surprise to her. I asked her husband to secretly send me a photo of her dog she has saved on her phone and instead he just went “hey babe send me your favorite photo of narco”. 😑 not super sneaky that one.

What lovely work! I can almost feel the texture of his fur. I also really want to scratch his ears & high-five his paw, the claws & shadows under them really ground him on the lovely wood grained floor.
