Wanted to practice painting glass and boy was this challenging! For such a simple looking subject it took as long time to look right.

You did a super job! Looks very realistic..my favorite is the cork! LOL

Thank you! That was actually my favorite part to paint lol

You are so good at realitism! It’s beautiful Lili! BTW, I got my blush brush RT 201! Love it! Thx for sharing!

Great outcome! I have not tried glass yet (although wanting to eventually). It looks challenging for sure!

Thanks Nancy! Glad you like the brush. Its my absolute favorite for blending. I bought a few of them because it does need to be completely dry to work well. Also because my darn cat likes to steal them 😂

Thanks Pam. I get the feeling it would be easier with oils since acrylic doesn’t love to be translucent.

Such a beautiful painting! Great job with the glass! However I would make that light blue trapezoid same as the rest of background. I think it ruins composition by being lightest and most contrast to the rest of the scene that it pulls attention from the main piece which is that oil bottle. Also if you turn it into brown that oil bottle will glow against the background in the most wonderful way.

Yes you are so right sunnylady thank you! I was just trying to follow the reference photo as closely as possible but it’s been bothering me and I should have just gone with my gut.
