I haven't felt much like painting lately. This is the first one I've done in a few weeks. It's an original based on a photo I found when searching "cozy Autumn" on Google. I think I'm getting the shading and highlighting thing a bit better now.
Great shading and colour choices for the hair, the blanket and especially the bobble hat!

Really great painting! As I was scrolling through I thought for a second there someone cheated and snuck in a photo. Great detailing! The only addition I would suggest is to give her some fuzzy socks. Who gets a big fuzzy blanket, hat, flannel pjs, warm beverage…and then goes outside barefoot? Silly stock photo girl.
Thank you everyone. ☺️ I also thought that the barefoot was silly. I added a fuzzy sock to match her hat. It might read like a barefoot on the photo though because it is beige (sorta skin colour). I also added a little steam to her cup. Little artist embellishments because as Bob would say: it's your own world you can do whatever you want. 😉
Oh I see it now! You have the top…I don’t know what you call it…scrunchie part that shows it’s a sock. Haha sorry I didn’t notice before!
