Aha! You're right gunaM! I kept looking at my painting thinking that the dog's should be reflected in the water. But they aren't in the reference photo. I figured maybe the reference was photoshopped and that's why there is no reflection. But it's probably because the dog's sit further back in the boat. If I brought mine to more of a triangular rounded point, my dogs would sit further back as well. I'll definitely give that a try today. More canoe, less rowboat. Thanks for the tip! I think sometimes we stare at our paintings so much that we can no longer see the little things.
