I'm creating a scrapbook full of stories, drawings and paintings for my bff because we've been friends for 40 years this month. This one depicts is at about 12 years old practicing ballet in purple bodysuits that my mom sewed for us. Didn't have a reference photo, so had to paint it straight out of my fuzzy memory. Doing it impressionistic style helps a lot to depict distant memories!
